- ➤ The Boys & Girls Club received a $50,000 gift from Agnesian HealthCare Foundation to expand its SEL and mental health programs for local youth. - ➤ Lakeland University will open an office presence at Moraine Park Technical College’s Fond du Lac Campus, and an Open House will be held on Wed, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m. for visitors to view the new space and learn about academic programs (strengthening the schools’ ongoing partnership). - ➤ Marian University seeks proposals for its 19th annual symposium on democracy and authoritarianism, which will begin with a keynote on March 17 and continue through March 18. Scholars, professionals and community thought leaders are invited to submit innovative presentations (details available on the symposium website). FDL Reporter

- ➤ A cold weather advisory was in effect Monday morning after Fond du Lac saw -4 with a wind chill of -21 — forecasters warn early February may bring a short relief before the extended freezing spell resumes. KFIZ

- ➤ Agnesian HealthCare Foundation received 6,000 pairs of Bombas socks early Tuesday to support patients across SSM Health services (including the Samaritan Clinic, hospice, and emergency rooms) in Fond du Lac. FDL Reporter

- ➤ Data from Realtor.com show that Fond du Lac County's median home listing fell to $322,475 in December, a 5% drop from November, with homes averaging 1,671 sqft and spending 63 days on the market compared to 50 days the month before. FDL Reporter

- ➤ Marian's NCAA hockey team beat Lawrence 7-2 after an offensive burst that saw early power-play goals by Rautio and Bottem set the pace; the Sabres enjoyed a 35-32 shot advantage and added four special-teams markers in a key Highway 41 rivalry matchup. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian University men’s hockey reclaimed the Battle of Highway 41 trophy with a 3-2 overtime win over Lawrence & improved their all-time record against the rival team. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian University women’s ice hockey won a 4-0 road game over Lawrence today when sophomore Zowie Hunter scored three goals in 4-30, with teammates assisting the scores; the team also dominated shots and face-offs to complete the sweep. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian women’s ice hockey beat Lawrence 3-2 after scoring two late third-period goals — the game was played at home in NCHA action and boosted their strong record against the Vikings. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian University’s men’s basketball team beat Illinois Tech 79-52 today. Senior Alex Vassilakis scored 19 points with 11 rebounds — sophomore Harper Krolak added 11 points and 11 assists as the Sabres extended their four-game winning streak with a season-high 14 steals. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian University women’s bowling team went 10-0 at the NCAA Division III Invite, scoring high averages in Baker and traditional matches despite earning a third seed by pin average. A second squad competed at the GLBC meet and finished fourth overall. Envision Greater FDL
