- ➤ The Kwik Trip on South Main Street is undergoing a major remodel and now operates from 5am to 10pm while offering fewer items (no hot food, fountain soda, slushies, smoothies or beer) until the end of May. KFIZ
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Area high school seniors aiming for health care careers may apply for several scholarships from SSM Health groups, with awards ranging from $500 to $2,000 intended for studies at colleges, universities, and technical schools (deadlines are March 7 and March 15) in the local service area. - ➤ Moraine Park Technical College reported an 8% enrollment increase—the highest headcount in five years—and is accepting fall applications while hosting Preview Days on March 4 in Fond du Lac, March 11 in West Bend, and March 12 in Beaver Dam. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ The Fond du Lac Public Library announced its 12th annual Teens Photo Contest for students in grades 6 to 12, inviting photo entries in three categories. Entries are due April 10 at 6 p.m. and the best photo will win a $250 Visa gift card, with judging in May at the Langdon Divers Gallery. KFIZ

- ➤ Agnesian HealthCare Foundation gave $97,128 to SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital for a new ECMO system that will speed up lifesaving heart and lung treatments. The hospital says the system helps transfer patients faster + improves care safety. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ ThedaCare advises residents with osteoarthritis to ease winter joint pain by keeping warm with layers, staying active with low-impact exercise, and focusing on proper nutrition & vitamin D intake. Envision Greater FDL
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Marian women’s ice hockey earned its second double-digit win with a 4-2 victory over MSOE when a power-play goal and a game-winning score by sophomore Piper Miller sealed the win (the team’s record against MSOE improved to 4-3-0). Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian University's hockey team won a 1-0 overtime game against MSOE on Tuesday, as sophomore Brady Brenner scored the lone goal from a single overtime shot amid tight defense - this win marks their first regular season sweep against the Raiders since 2019-20. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian University's men's hockey team earned its third win by beating MSOE 6-1 at home. The team broke a scoreless first period with two quick goals in the second period + secured a strong win by adding four more in the third. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian men’s volleyball finished a home invite undefeated with wins over Olivet and Viterbo at the Sabre Invite. The Sabres played strong on offense and defense (with timely kills and digs) to secure a 3-0 record. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian men’s volleyball earned its season’s first win at the Sabre Classic by defeating Westminster in straight sets — scoring 25-22, 25-21, and 26-24 — and improved its record after an earlier series loss. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ WLA lost to Ripon 51-50 in a close game on Monday in Ripon. The one-point difference decided the contest. KFIZ
