- ➤ Alliant Energy and its charitable foundation donated nearly $6.6 million and 66,000 volunteer hours in 2025 to support local safety, environment, workforce readiness, and hunger programs. The contributions benefitted over 1,280 groups (including a Farm Education Zone at local events) and funded projects in Fond du Lac. KFIZ
BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Businesses across Northeast Wisconsin have until March 10 to apply for the Fastest Growing Companies Awards (applications are free) that rank revenue growth from 2023 to 2025. Award winners will be announced on April 17 and celebrated at a breakfast on June 24 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Envision Greater FDL

- ➤ Marian University has scheduled Barb Allen as the keynote speaker for the Women in Construction 2026 event on Tuesday, March 10 at the Stayer Center. High school and college students are invited to register for free (by March 3) to explore careers in construction. KFIZ

- ➤ Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is recalling Great Value cottage cheese sold Feb. 17 to 20 after tests found pasteurization issues, so customers should not eat the product. Willamette Valley Fruit Company confirmed 55,000 pounds of recalled frozen blueberries have been accounted for + no illnesses were reported. KFIZ
