- ➤ The American Red Cross of Wisconsin is asking for donations on Giving Day, set for March 26—hoping to help families facing disasters and everyday crises. They expect at least 30,000 contributions, with gifts as small as $3 providing comfort kits while blood donors get free A1C tests and a $10 Amazon gift card. KFIZ

- ➤ On Friday, March 21st, deputies received multiple 911 calls from Lori’s Bar and Grill in Lamartine and arrested a 31-year-old Fond du Lac man after a fight with another restaurant employee turned into a stabbing—hospital staff treated the victim for non-life-threatening injuries at St. Agnes Hospital. - ➤ Fond du Lac police reported that 40-year-old Hunter Kamrath, who faces nine felony charges, is held on a $1 million bond after surveillance footage showed him stomping on his landlord’s head during a fight on March 11—leaving the victim with severe injuries. WBAY
- ➤ Fond du Lac County deputies charged Justin Fena after he led a high speed chase near Highway 175 and County F on March 4, and a search of his vehicle turned up illegal drugs including methamphetamine, cocaine, LSD, THC, ketamine and MDMA along with ammunition and five firearms including two AK-47s, and he remains in custody with a cash bond of $100,000. - ➤ The Fond du Lac Department of Public Works announced that a block of south Hickory Street between Emma and Ruggles will close for a full week for water utility repairs and pavement restoration — the closure starts Tuesday, March 25th at 7:00 a.m. and runs until the end of Monday, March 31st.
