- ➤ On Saturday, March 21, 2026, Lakeside Evening Kiwanis presented a $6000 check to Blue Line Family Ice Center during Walleye Weekend, when Fond du Lac Bears Hockey Team helped raise the funds. KFIZ
- ➤ The Fond du Lac Public Library expanded its Experience Pass program to give cardholders free four-day access to museums and parks today. New destinations added include the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum in Milwaukee and Neville Public Museum — passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the downtown branch. FDL Reporter

- ➤ FVSBank promoted Ryan Galligan to COO — he will lead strategic operations and drive process improvements at the bank. Galligan, with over 15 years of experience and a Lakeland University degree, previously served as Vice President and Director of Operations. Envision Greater FDL
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Gas prices in the Midwest increased for the second straight week, with an average of $3.68 per gallon on Monday, up from $3.39 last week (analysts say the rise is due to Middle East tensions and spring demand) and further increases may follow. FDL Reporter
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Dylan Ryan, a Fond du Lac high school student, was one of 35 Wisconsin seniors awarded a $2000 agriculture scholarship by Compeer Financial on March 25 to help pursue an ag-related degree. The award supports rural education and advances local farming communities. KFIZ
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Dairy farmers affected by March 14 to 16 storms can seek disaster recovery assistance by reporting livestock, crop, and infrastructure losses to local FSA offices; applications (for 2026 losses) require complete documentation and must be submitted by March 1, 2027. FDL Reporter
- ➤ Fond du Lac Waterworks will flush hydrants on dead end streets this week from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., concluding Friday. Residents are advised not to run laundry or use automatic ice machines (water may turn temporarily discolored) and to flush home taps if discoloration persists. KFIZ

A 2.2-mile ruck march/walk hosted by Moraine Park Technical College and Marian University to raise awareness of veteran suicide and honor those who have lost their lives too soon. Free and Open to the public.
