- ➤ Fives Giddings & Lewis has announced capital equipment purchases and facility upgrades in Fond du Lac to boost capacity and modernize operations. The company will begin installing a new machine foundation in mid-summer and remove old office sections to create green space before production starts in the fourth quarter. KFIZ
- ➤ Wells Vehicle Electronics said it will lay off about 100 workers and permanently close its manufacturing and warehouse sites (385 W. Rolling Meadows Drive and 420 Trowbridge Drive) in Fond du Lac. Layoffs will begin June 2 and finish by March 2027, affecting only its OE division. NBC 26
