A 45 year old Milwaukee man led Fond du Lac deputies on a 3.5 mile chase after fleeing a traffic stop on South Military Road and Interstate 41 at around 9:09 p.m. April 4 and was arrested on charges including felony fleeing/eluding, reckless endangering safety, and bail jumping after officers used a Taser and intervention techniques—no injuries were reported.

Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office warned residents Friday and Saturday that scammers using spoofed numbers to claim missed jury duty and demand fines are impersonating officials—legitimate agencies send jury summonses by mail rather than asking for money over the phone.
