ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ At 2:47 a.m. on April 7, 2025, emergency crews responded to a rollover crash at the Club Car Wash on Pioneer Road in Fond du Lac where a pick-up truck rolled several times and its driver was found unconscious; responders treated him and transported him to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. KFIZ
- ➤ Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue responded to a four unit house fire on April 5 when smoke was seen in the basement — crews found fire spreading into the first-floor kitchen wall, though all occupants escaped unharmed and the Red Cross assisted four displaced residents while investigators work to determine the cause. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies chased a vehicle into Fond du Lac County early April 7 just before 1 a.m. and Fond du Lac County Deputies used stop sticks on Highway 67 in Lomira—stopping the vehicle about three miles west of Campbellsport and taking the driver into custody. KFIZ
- ➤ Christopher J. Hoerth, a 39-year-old Fond du Lac man, was found guilty on April 4 of giving fentanyl to his sister, which caused her overdose death in May 2020—he now faces up to 40 years in prison—while his sentencing is pending. FDL Reporter

- ➤ Camila Munoz, a Peruvian woman married to Bradley Bartell, was released on a $3,000 bond after 49 days in ICE custody Friday and now faces an immigration court hearing in mid-April. Bartell drove several hours to meet her outside the detention center — and their reunion unfolds amid national debate over immigration policies. FDL Reporter
- ➤ This week is Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week, where residents are urged to be ready for severe weather. Fond du Lac County Emergency Manager John Ross said a free weather spotter class will be held tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at the Fond du Lac City County Government Center and that mock tornado drills are scheduled on April 10th at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. — NOAA weather radios and sirens may be used during the drills. - ➤ Marian University softball swept Rockford in a conference doubleheader by winning game one 7 to 0 and game two 5 to 4—junior Carissa Heisdorf drove in the walk-off run in game two. The Sabres improved their all-time record against Rockford to 32 to 7. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian baseball earned its first NACC sweep of the season by beating Dominican 13—7 in the first game and 3—1 in the second. The Sabres extended their winning streak against Dominican to four games and improved their all-time record to 22—18. Envision Greater FDL
