- ➤ Family Connect of Wisconsin will celebrate one year of the Fond du Lac Community Network on Wednesday, April 16 at the Prairie Events Center — a ribbon cutting ceremony with Envision Greater Fond du Lac starts at 4:00 p.m. followed by a celebration until 6:00 p.m. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Compeer Financial announced that the Fond du Lac Area Foundation received part of a $1.4 million grant from the Rural Collaboration Project, which supports 14 local foundations. The award requires a sustainable long-term plan and a strategic vision to strengthen rural vitality. KFIZ

- ➤ Last night, Fond du Lac voters rejected a $30 million school referendum, and school officials are now reviewing budget options including consolidating two schools while keeping the high school open — tax pressures from other projects influenced the vote. NBC 26
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wisconsin will hold Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week from April 13-17, with a statewide tornado drill planned on April 16 at 1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.—if severe weather occurs, the drill will be rescheduled to April 17, according to Fond du Lac County Emergency Management Director John Ross. - ➤ Marian University women's lacrosse tied MSOE at halftime but lost 14 to 8 at Smith Field. The game marked the teams' first meeting and gives MSOE a 2 to 1 lead in their all-time series. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian University baseball swept Lakeland in two games, winning 20-15 and 10-0 in seven innings to extend its winning streak to four. The Sabres improved their series record to 5-1 in the last six matchups (70-31 historically) with strong offensive plays. Envision Greater FDL
