- ➤ The University of Wisconsin Board of Regents extended its temporary test-optional policy for high school juniors set to graduate in spring 2027 after a vote on April 20. Applicants can choose not to submit test scores when the admission application opens Aug. 1. FDL Reporter
- ➤ Residents can join a free two-hour storm spotter training session hosted by the National Weather Service on Monday, April 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers of the City County Government Center to learn how to identify and report severe weather — a key step in strengthening neighborhood safety. - ➤ Marian University invites Fond du Lac residents to solve a vintage-era crime during a mock experience at its campus Crime Scene House on April 23 and 24 with 15-minute sessions available between 4 and 7 p.m. Groups of four or more are encouraged to sign up online. FDL Reporter
