Envision Greater Fond du Lac hosted a ribbon cutting at Georgetown Cleaners to mark the new ownership by the Pelletier Family, who purchased the long-time family business in November 2024—Georgetown Cleaners, located at 399 S.

Main Street, offers full-service laundry and dry cleaning and runs community programs such as free laundry for the less fortunate and a Coat for Kids initiative.

Waupun, Ripon, North Fond du Lac, and Campbellsport partnered with Envision Greater Fond du Lac to launch the WRNC Opportunity Fund on April 30th to support local startups and business expansions with flexible low-interest loans.

The fund—established through a competitive grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation—aims to boost regional economic growth and drive innovation.

The Fond du Lac Public Works Department is handling pavement restoration and water utility repairs that have closed Rose Avenue between McKinley and Roosevelt from April 29 — May 6, while north Main, north Butler, and Scott Streets remain closed; Brooke Street reopened after a week of repairs.
