- ➤ A fire at a Fond du Lac townhome on Scott Street early May 1 displaced one household and led to the evacuation of nearby residents while paramedics took a child and a woman to a local hospital after fire crews swiftly extinguished the flames. FDL Reporter

- ➤ The state Department of Justice announced that Wisconsin will receive over $80 million from a ($7.4B) settlement with Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family to support addiction treatment, prevention, and recovery programs over 15 years. - ➤ SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac provides food bags to food-insecure patients with a $5,000 grant from the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation and Fondy Food Pantry.
