- ➤ North Fond du Lac police found the missing 18-year-old teen near the Odyssey Movie Theater just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday — he left his parents' house Sunday night for a TikTok challenge and authorities noted his phone was off while Snapchat was disabled, suspecting a mental health crisis. - ➤ Two online aquatic animal suppliers — one from Jamestown and one from Raleigh — were convicted in multiple counties for shipping invasive crayfish to Wisconsin despite warnings from the DNR and paid fines totaling nearly $6,000. WBAY
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, the Fond du Lac County Highway Department sprayed ditch lines along County roads to control invasive weeds—especially wild parsnip. Crews certified in EPA herbicide application will continue spraying select County roads east of Interstate 41 and park walking trails this spring and summer—organic growers and the public may call the highway office with questions.
