ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On May 27, a person lighting fireworks on the auto tour trail off Highway 49 in Horicon Marsh started a one-acre vegetation fire that the Waupun Fire Department quickly put out at 2:20 p.m.—US Fish and Wildlife are investigating on federal land. KFIZ
- ➤ A Fond du Lac man died after his SUV collided with a dump truck near Eden on May 27—first responders closed the intersection at County Highway B and County Highway K for about four hours and a cement truck was also hit though its driver was uninjured. KFIZ
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office released video footage on Wednesday of a high-speed chase on May 19 that spanned nearly 18 miles — ending with the arrest of two suspects, damage to four squad cars, treatment of one deputy, and the recovery of a gun at the scene. NBC 26
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Today the Dock Spiders defeated the Mallards 4-3 at home after Jarren Sanderson made a game-ending double play to end a nine-game losing streak between the rivals — his three hits and the strong work from the pitching staff helped secure the win.
