Here's your local news at a glance for Friday, the 3rd of July.
Good morning, Fond du Lac.
The City of Fond du Lac and Festival Foods sponsor the largest Independence Day fireworks show this Saturday, July 4, at Lakeside Park — it will have double the fireworks of last year and will be rescheduled for Sunday if rain cancels the event.
Tom's Drive In, a family-owned Wisconsin chain, will open on Monday, July 13 at 10:30 a.m. at 876 east Johnson Street.
The grand opening will feature a ribbon cutting, free swag bags + giveaways including a chance for weekly meal prizes and face painting for kids.
Fond du Lac residents should prepare for tomorrow's Fourth of July celebrations as ThedaCare doctors warn of a potential rise in heat-related injuries.
