- ➤ Agricultural businesses from Dodge and Fond du Lac counties will host Farmland Frolic on July 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to let local families sample produce, crafts and services at various booths — the free event will offer hands-on activities that connect visitors with the area’s farming community. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Over the weekend, fireworks sparked multiple fires including dumpster fires on July 5 in Appleton and a garage fire at N6041 Stillwater Drive in Fond du Lac County that local crews quickly contained—additionally, fire departments in Sheboygan County responded on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. to a basement fire near Oostburg that injured one man who was taken to hospital. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ SSM Health donated $10,000 to the Moraine Park Technical College Foundation to fund scholarships for nursing, nursing assistant, and medical assistant students. The donation addresses the region’s health care workforce shortage + supports local students training for essential patient care roles. Envision Greater FDL

- ➤ Today the Dock Spiders lost 4-2 to the Chinooks at Herr-Baker Field after Garrett Workman pitched five scoreless innings with six strikeouts — the offense managed only two runs in a game that marked their third straight loss. - ➤ Dock Spiders outfielder Jarren Sanderson and left-handed pitcher Ethan Cole were selected for the Great Lakes All-Star team by the Northwoods League — their strong season performance earned them the honor.
