Good morning, Fond du Lac.

On Saturday, a barn fire from a controlled burn on W1502 Old Bridge Road in Auburn Township got out of control, and firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze (no one was hurt and no other structures were damaged).

Today through July 18, the City of Fond du Lac is working on multiple construction projects including water main installation on Main and Court Streets, sidewalk repairs on Scott Street, and bridge work on Promen Drive in Lakeside Park.

Several streets will be closed to through traffic and on-street parking will be limited while detours are provided — work is weather dependent.
