- ➤ Fond du Lac Public Library will host a Touch a Truck event at Lakeside Park off Harbor View Drive from 10 a.m. to noon on July 23. The event will have a sensory-friendly hour from 10 to 11 (for those sensitive to noise) and does not require registration. KFIZ

- ➤ In Campbellsport, Kevin Kleinhans said his garage door was damaged when a locksmith installed a faulty lift handle and left him locked out, prompting him to seek help from Contact 6 after three weeks of unresolved complaints. The company also assisted Wisconsin consumers with 17 cases in June (saving $34,175.36 in total) including resolving issues for an 83-year-old woman and a Waukesha resident. FOX6
- ➤ Local businesses including The Supply Plus store in Fond du Lac joined a federal lawsuit to block the law that fines sellers of vape products without FDA approval & could force retailers to remove these items if no injunction is granted by September 1. The lawsuit, filed by Wisconsinites for Alternatives to Smoking and Tobacco, Inc., argues that the state law oversteps FDA regulations and may drive consumers back to cigarettes. KFIZ

- ➤ Organizers of the Wisconsin State Fair ask voters to help it win Best State Fair in the USA TODAY 10 BEST readers' Choice awards by allowing people 18 and older to vote once a day until July 28—winners will be announced on August 6 and the fair will run from July 31 through August 10 in West Allis.
