- ➤ Joe Bird, a Fond du Lac native who passed away in early April, left a $612,100 estate gift to the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation to support local health care services. - ➤ A Neenah biotech company created a new carbon bandage—tested to last several days and save patients money from extra doctor visits. The company will expand to Madison and the Fox Valley in October and plans to bring the bandage to patients in India and the Americas soon. WBAY
- ➤ SSM Health Waupun Memorial Hospital will open a new youth and community art gallery in August thanks to funding from Agnesian HealthCare Foundation and local partners. The gallery in the lobby — featuring rotating work from area schools and nonprofits — will host a free art open house on August 26 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and run through August 2025.
