- ➤ On a sunny weekend in Fond du Lac during a member-guest golf tournament at South Hills Golf & Country Club, two 9-year-old girls hosted a lemonade stand in honor of Olivia’s late grandmother—Susanne Stilwell—and raised $1,035 donated to support SSM Health at Home Hospice through the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation. - ➤ From September 25 through November 8, the Harvest to Holiday Shopping Season will offer a six-week event featuring over 90 local shops, boutiques, eateries, and artisan studios in Fond du Lac, Waupun, and the Lake Winnebago East Shore — the event will include exclusive deals, fall treats, and a region-wide bingo game with a $500 cash prize. - ➤ Main Street in Downtown Fond du Lac reopened after being closed during two summer phases for resurfacing and repair work. City leaders celebrated the reopening at a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 28 (with Amy Krupp, Keith Heisler, and Joe Moore) (marking the end of the repair work). KFIZ
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ SSM Health St. Agnes Hospital received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines—Heart Failure Gold Plus award for a seventh consecutive year for improving patient care and reducing readmissions. The hospital also earned the Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll award for its strong commitment to evidence-based care. KFIZ
- ➤ Two Fond du Lac girls hosted a lemonade stand at South Hills Golf & Country Club during a golf tournament to raise funds for the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation to help SSM Health at Home Hospice. They raised $1,035 in memory of one girl's grandmother who passed in December. WBAY
