- ➤ Fond du Lac police arrested a 28-year-old suspect on Sept. 3 after he fled a traffic stop that led to a lockdown at Sabish Middle School — deputies recovered a backpack with 2.3 pounds of marijuana while the search for the second suspect continues. FDL Reporter
- ➤ After a high-speed pursuit ended in a crash on September 4 at the intersection of Highways 23 and 26 in Rosendale, deputies tracked a related vehicle and took a 24-year-old female driver and two male passengers into custody after finding illegal narcotics—authorities said the 28-year-old driver from the initial crash was evaluated at SSM Health before facing charges including felony fleeing and drug delivery. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Campbellsport School District in Fond du Lac County was awarded $100,000 from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development as part of nearly $1 million in grants to support its manufacturing curriculum. The funds will be used to purchase a Fuji Automatic Numerical Control Certified Industrial Robot Training Lab+providing hands-on experience that prepares students for skilled jobs. KFIZ

- ➤ The Fond du Lac Chapter DAR will rededicate a new Toll Gate Marker in Roosevelt Park on Sept. 11 at 1:45 p.m.—the marker honors the historic toll gate on the Military Trail and old Plank Road, and local officials will attend the ceremony. FDL Reporter
- ➤ Sen. Tammy Baldwin and Rep. Tony Wied have introduced the Go Pack Go Act to ensure that over 400,000 Wisconsin residents in 13 counties can access Packers broadcasts from in-state providers—allowing viewers to watch local sports and news. The bipartisan legislation, introduced since 2019, is now pending in the Senate Commerce Committee—promising a boost to local viewer choice. WBAY
