  • On Tuesday, October 7, Fond du Lac County fire departments held a combined open house at the county fairgrounds to promote fire prevention during Fire Prevention Week. The event featured equipment displays and live demonstrations—helping the community learn about fire safety.  KFIZ
  • Envision Greater Fond du Lac hired Terri Alexander as Program Coordinator in August to lead Young Professionals of Fond du Lac and support community programs — she earned her master's at Purdue and is eager to help local young leaders grow.  Envision Greater FDL

HEALTH NEWS

  • More than 800 Fond du Lac residents joined the Oct. 4 Walk to End Alzheimer's to raise over $160K for care, education and a 24/7 helpline – Team Couge’s Crew earned the Blair Cares Award for their fundraising in memory of their mother – the event supported vital services for families facing the disease.  FDL Reporter
