- ➤ The Fond du Lac Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a wreath-laying ceremony on December 13 at 11 a.m. at three local cemeteries—Calvary, St. Charles and Taycheedah—to honor 2,190 veterans, and local officials including U.S. Rep. - ➤ New data from Zumper shows that Fond du Lac apartment listings dropped 11% from last year, with the median rent falling to $975 in October—down from $985 last month. The figures include all sizes from studios to four-bedroom units. FDL Reporter

- ➤ Ripon College students can apply early for Bellin College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program through a new affiliation that reserves four seats if they meet the admission requirements — the partnership gives local students a clear path to graduate studies and helps address the growing need for healthcare professionals in northeast Wisconsin. - ➤ Fond du Lac School District is asking residents to take a survey to help plan an April referendum that would lower the funding ask from $10 million to between $6 and $8 million + an extra $2 million option to improve class sizes and staffing. - ➤ Wisconsin took part in the nationwide prescription drug take back day yesterday and state officials reported that 53,498 pounds of unused medications were collected— the highest total for that day in the nation. Since 2010, over 1.4 million pounds have been gathered, though the state now ranks third behind Texas and California in overall collection. KFIZ
