Marian University women’s bowling team opened CCIW tournament action with a 5-1 record at their fall tournament, posting a 3,445-pin total in traditional play and sweeping wins over Augustana, Carthage and Elmhurst.

The team recorded 950 pins in one match for the highest total of the day + closed the opening tournament with a win over Aurora.

Marian University women’s basketball started slowly at Lawrence and trailed by a wide margin in the first quarter — they fought hard in the last three periods to narrow the gap before finishing 71-46.

The Sabres improved their defense and rebounding despite mishandled turnovers during the game.

Marian University women’s hockey beat Dubuque 4-2 to complete a series sweep.

Junior Catherine Yasenak scored early and sophomore Zowie Hunter added two goals while Dubuque briefly cut the gap in the second period but could not overcome the lead.
