- ➤ The Fond du Lac Public Library invites cardholders to use its Idea Studio makers’ space to craft homemade holiday gifts using free equipment (3D printers, an embroidery machine, and laser printers). The space is available for drop-in projects or classes on Wednesday evenings until 8 p.m. and Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. WBAY
- ➤ Green Lake County’s land conservation department is running its fourth annual Donate A Deer drive to collect venison for the local food pantry ahead of the busy holiday season—hunters have donated an average of 15 deer and a second drop-off is set for Saturday, November 29th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the county fairgrounds, helping feed 80 to 100 families each week. - ➤ Scammers impersonated popular businesses during the holiday season to steal personal data — local officials urge residents to verify requests and use security freezes with major credit agencies. KFIZ

- ➤ SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic added board-certified nephrologist Dr. Zubin Lathara to its team and he is now accepting patients from Fond du Lac and Waupun—he will help manage kidney issues such as chronic kidney disease, high blood pressure and kidney stones. Envision Greater FDL
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Katie Kotlowski has been announced as an assistant coach for the Marian University women’s ice hockey team — she played six seasons at Wisconsin and helped win national championships in 2021, 2023, and 2025. She earned degrees in rehabilitation psychology and sports leadership and will use her experience to build the team’s culture. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Marian University's NCAA men's hockey team defeated Augsburg 2-1 in overtime in non-conference play. Senior Quinn Mulder scored early in the second period while sophomore Brendan Bottem sealed the win at 1:08 plus the defense kept Augsburg to just four shots in the opening period. - ➤ The Fond du Lac High School Boys Basketball team will open its season on Tuesday, Dec 2, against Waunakee High School and plan events such as a Teddy Bear Toss, Children’s Book Drive, A&W Nights, Military Night, and a Legends Evening honoring past players. School officials say local businesses are supporting the season with schedule magnet giveaways and food promotions — a strong community effort for the upcoming games. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Delanie Vogt of Marian University women’s bowling has been chosen as the CCIW Bowler of the Week after a strong performance at the McKendree Bearcat Classic, where she averaged 207.6 over five games+ maintained excellent conversion rates among 120 competitors.
