- ➤ Marian University launched a fully online, 9-credit certificate program for pre-K–12 leaders to improve communication and public relations skills—enrollment opens for January next year. - ➤ ADRC posted winter safety tips for residents to stock up on nonperishable food, batteries, and tools and to check social media, their website, local TV and radio for weather closure updates. SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Marian University juniors Andrew Ayeni in men’s basketball and Delanie Vogt in women’s bowling were named Sabres of the Month for November — Ayeni averaged 16 points per game while Vogt led her team with a 181.3 average and earned weekly recognition. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ Fond du Lac’s new Swing Zone, a sports facility for baseball and softball training, will host a ribbon cutting on December 4 at 4:00 p.m. and a grand opening on December 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at W4506 Lakepark Drive—north of Taycheedah. KFIZ
- ➤ Senior Derek Lindert led the Sabres by scoring 33 of his 37 points in the first half to help Marian University beat Saint Mary’s 105-73. The game saw Lindert hit six three-pointers during a 20-4 scoring run—boosting the team's fast break and overall offensive performance. Envision Greater FDL
