- ➤ Fond du Lac's new Swing Zone baseball and softball training center held a ribbon cutting on Dec. 4 with Envision Greater Fond du Lac and is now open for reservations, memberships, and camps for players + families. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ The DAR will host the Wreaths Across America Ceremony at Avenue 795 at 11 a.m. today — volunteers will place wreaths at St. Charles Cemetery from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. and Calvary Cemetery veteran wreaths are deferred until Monday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. KFIZ

- ➤ Edith’s Bridal and Tuxedo Junction was purchased by local owners Dave and Vicki Schmidt. The store will move from 9 S. Main Street to the former Wood’s Floral building at 36 N. - ➤ Marian University announced a 50% tuition discount for incoming Catholic high school graduates and church members starting Fall 2026 (eligible students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and submit official documentation). Envision Greater FDL

- ➤ SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic welcomes Dr. Jackie Luthardt as its new obstetrician and gynecologist and now she sees patients at 420 E. Division Street. - ➤ Wellness 360 Spa held its ribbon cutting yesterday at Hotel Retlaw in downtown Fond du Lac as owner Sydney Hummell invited residents to book personalized skin treatments, massages, and aesthetic services. KFIZ

- ➤ The Dock Spiders announced new ticket packages for the 2026 season that offer seven collectible giveaway items with the Souvenir 7 package and food options at select home games with the new 5-Game Tailgater Package. - ➤ Marian University ACHA D2 finished the first half of the season with a 6-1 win over UW-Oshkosh, extending its winning streak to five games and posting a 20-1-0 record against the Titans after opening with a 3-0 lead. Envision Greater FDL
- ➤ President Rob Zerjav of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers was named High-A Minor League Baseball’s Executive of the Year following record attendance and increased merchandise sales + a successful Holiday Lights event that runs through Jan. 3.
