Menards paid the state $750,000 to settle an investigation after it falsely advertised its 11% mail-in rebate as a discount.
The home improvement store updated its rebate program by extending claim periods and clarifying terms so shoppers understand the offer on Dec. 17.

Since last year, SSM Health at Home Hospice volunteers Anna Giebel and Karen Stewart have visited patients at St. Francis Home (33 Everett Street) twice weekly, using music and seasonal items for comfort.
They invite local residents to join the program, expanding compassionate care in the community.
