ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A fire at a four-unit home on 156 W. Division St. in Fond du Lac displaced four residents after it started in the basement on April 5th at 2 p.m.—the kitchen sustained major damage while all residents evacuated safely and are receiving help from the Red Cross as the cause is under investigation. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A 45 year old Milwaukee man led Fond du Lac deputies on a 3.5 mile chase after fleeing a traffic stop on South Military Road and Interstate 41 at around 9:09 p.m. April 4 and was arrested on charges including felony fleeing/eluding, reckless endangering safety, and bail jumping after officers used a Taser and intervention techniques—no injuries were reported. - ➤ Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office warned residents Friday and Saturday that scammers using spoofed numbers to claim missed jury duty and demand fines are impersonating officials—legitimate agencies send jury summonses by mail rather than asking for money over the phone. FDL Reporter
