A $3,000 Green Bay Packers Foundation grant is headed to the SSM Health Samaritan Clinic in Fond du Lac, an assist that never makes the highlight reel. It will buy coats, T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and hygiene supplies for uninsured and low-income patients.

“Having access to basic necessities such as warm clothing and hygiene products can improve a person’s health, dignity, and quality of life.”

Missy Tate, SSM Health Samaritan Clinic leader

KFIZ reported the grant supports the clinic's and Agnesian HealthCare Foundation's efforts on social determinants of health. Staff can use the items to give practical support when patients face financial hardship.
